Anticipation Builds for the Release of Polish Film “RAGE OF STARS”

Movie enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the upcoming release of the Polish film “RAGE OF STARS,” which promises to deliver a thrilling action-packed experience. The film is scheduled to hit screens sometime this year, sparking excitement among action-movie fans.

“RAGE OF STARS” tells the story of Jemma, a secret service agent who senses the impending end of humanity. This cinematic endeavor is the brainchild of Łukasz Rog, based on his earlier short film “NO STARS ANYMORE.” Rog’s debut and the success of his previous short film have garnered support from sponsors, contributing to the growth of Polish cinema.

The narrative follows a fresh-faced special unit agent, awakened by a premonition of the world’s demise. As she navigates through unsettling media reports, her mission, once a dream, transforms into a nightmare.

The initial version of the film, “NO STARS ANYMORE,” received praise from critics, despite some reservations, notably from Carl Burgess. Burgess, in his review, teased Rog’s multiple roles in the film’s production, suggesting he might have even handled catering. However, he acknowledged Rog’s commendable work, describing the film as “more stylish and engaging than most short films of its genre.” While official reviews of “RAGE OF STARS” are pending until its release, behind-the-scenes footage on Łukasz Rog’s YouTube channel offers a glimpse into the film’s production. The footage captures the enthusiasm of the cast and crew, hinting at the movie’s dark and gripping nature, blending elements of horror and sci-fi.

The cast of “RAGE OF STARS” boasts international talent, with British actress Andrea Tivadar portraying the lead role of the secret agent. The film is produced by LUKRA FILMS, who faced the daunting task of sifting through 7,000 applications to cast the right actors. Alongside Tivadar, the cast includes names like Jord Knotter, Jack McEvoy, Elijah Rowen, Małgorzata Klara, and Mayu Gralińska-Sakai. Polish viewers will undoubtedly recognize Małgorzata Klara from her numerous film and television appearances, including “Ojciec Mateusz” and “Na Wspólnej,” while Mayu Gralińska-Sakai is known for her role in “BrzydUla.” Jord Knotter, a Dutch actor, and Jack McEvoy, both bring their own unique flair to the production, with McEvoy having gained recognition for his role in the popular TV series “Vikings.” As anticipation mounts for the release of “RAGE OF STARS,” audiences can expect an adrenaline-fueled cinematic experience that will leave them on the edge of their seats.
